1. Product Overview

The Jadfezy Action Camera K-03 series is a versatile and durable camera designed for capturing high-quality video and photos in various environments, including underwater. It features 1080P Full HD video recording, 12MP photo capabilities, a 2-inch LCD screen for real-time display, and comes with a 32GB memory card and two rechargeable batteries for extended use. 3. Getting Started

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge both batteries. The camera comes with two 900 mAh rechargeable batteries.

  1. Insert a battery into the camera's battery compartment.
  2. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once charging is complete.
  4. Alternatively, an external battery charger (not included) can be used to charge spare batteries.

3.2 Inserting the Micro SD Card

A 32GB Micro SD card is included. Ensure the card is inserted correctly before use.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.

3.3 Attaching the Waterproof Case

The waterproof housing protects the camera up to 30 meters (98 feet) underwater and from impacts.

  1. Open the latch on the top of the waterproof case.
  2. Gently place the camera inside the case, ensuring it fits snugly.
  3. Close the latch securely until it clicks.
  4. Before using underwater, always perform a dry test with the case empty to ensure no leaks.

4. Basic Operation

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (usually on the front or top) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again for a few seconds until the screen turns off.

4.2 Mode Switching

The camera supports various modes, including Video Recording, Photo Capture, and Playback.

  • Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes. The current mode icon will be displayed on the LCD screen.

4.3 Recording Video

  1. Switch to Video Recording mode.
  2. Press the OK/Shutter button (usually on the top) to start recording. A red dot or recording timer will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the OK/Shutter button again to stop recording. The video file will be saved to the Micro SD card.

4.4 Taking Photos

  1. Switch to Photo Capture mode.
  2. Frame your shot using the 2-inch LCD screen.
  3. Press the OK/Shutter button to take a photo. The image will be saved to the Micro SD card.

4.5 Using the 2-inch LCD Screen

The integrated 2-inch LCD screen allows for real-time viewing and playback.

  • Use the screen to preview your shots before recording or taking photos.
  • In Playback mode, navigate through your recorded videos and photos using the Up/Down buttons (if available) and press OK to view.

5. Advanced Features

5.1 Time-Lapse Video

The camera supports time-lapse video, capturing a series of photos at set intervals and stitching them into a video.

  • Access the camera settings to enable and configure time-lapse intervals (e.g., 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 60s).
  • Start recording as usual; the camera will automatically create the time-lapse video.

5.2 Dash Cam Mode

The camera can function as a dash cam, automatically recording when powered on and looping recordings.

  • Enable Dash Cam mode in the camera settings.
  • When connected to a power source (e.g., car charger), the camera will automatically start recording upon ignition.
  • Loop recording ensures that older files are overwritten when the memory card is full.

5.3 Underwater Use

The included waterproof housing allows the camera to be used up to 30 meters (98 feet) underwater.

  • Always ensure the waterproof housing is clean and free of debris before sealing.
  • Check the rubber seal (O-ring) for any damage or foreign particles.
  • After use in saltwater, rinse the housing with fresh water and allow it to air dry.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Camera

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and lens.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure the camera is dry before storing or using the waterproof case.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to about 50% capacity.

6.3 Storage

  • Store the camera and accessories in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment.
  • Remove the battery if the camera will not be used for a long time.
