Setup and Installation

1. Front Camera Installation

  1. Ensure the windshield is clean and dust-free.
  2. Apply the electrostatic film to the desired mounting area on the windshield. Smooth out any air bubbles.
  3. Attach the 3M adhesive mount to the dashcam. If your car's window is vertical, use the thicker support.
  4. Remove the protective film from the 3M adhesive and the camera lens.
  5. Firmly press the dashcam onto the electrostatic film on the windshield.
  6. Adjust the camera angle as needed. The camera can be easily removed from the mount.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the original car charger to the dashcam's power port.
  2. Use the provided lever tool to neatly tuck the charger cable along the car's interior trim.
  3. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket or a compatible USB port.

3. Rear Camera Installation (Optional)

Important: Ensure the dashcam is turned off before connecting or disconnecting the rear camera to prevent short circuits.

  1. Remove the protective film from the rear camera lens.
  2. Connect the rear camera cable to the front dashcam's rear camera port.
  3. Route the rear camera cable neatly using the provided lever tool.
  4. Clean the area on the rear windshield or above the license plate where the camera will be mounted.
  5. Fix the rear camera using its adhesive. Adjust the angle for a clear view of the road.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  1. Start your car engine. The dashcam will automatically power on and begin recording with a voice prompt "Start Recording".
  2. Press the button on the dashcam to switch between display modes: Front view, Rear view, Dual view, Screen saver, Wi-Fi information page, and return to Front view.
  3. A blinking red dot on the screen indicates that the camera is recording.
  4. When the car engine is turned off, the camera will automatically power off.

G-Sensor Protection

The adjustable G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the current video footage is automatically locked and saved in the "Lock" folder to prevent overwriting, ensuring critical evidence is preserved.

Loop Recording

Loop recording ensures continuous video recording. When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected videos are automatically overwritten. Locked videos are stored separately and will not be overwritten. Remember to save important videos promptly to avoid accidental deletion.

Screen Saver

After 5 minutes of recording, the screen brightness is reduced by 40% to minimize distraction while still displaying the recording status. You can also activate the screen saver by pressing the button three times.

Wi-Fi Connection and App Control

The dashcam features advanced Wi-Fi 6 technology for faster and more stable connections. This allows for real-time viewing and video transfer via the "Viidure" app.

  1. Ensure the dashcam is powered on. The Wi-Fi will activate automatically, indicated by a green Wi-Fi icon.
  2. Download the "Viidure" app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code below or visit https://www.6zhentan.com/app/d0001/index.html.
  3. Keep your phone within 3 meters of the camera.
  4. Activate Wi-Fi on your phone.
  5. Open the "Viidure" app and grant necessary permissions.
  6. Click "Add Camera" and select the dashcam's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "iD440-XXXXXX"). The default password is "12345678". Ignore any "No Internet Connection" messages.
  7. Once connected, you can control the camera, view live footage, download, and share videos directly from your phone.

Note: The dashcam's Wi-Fi is for controlling the camera and transferring files only; it does not provide internet access.

24-Hour Parking Monitoring

To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (not included) is required. Contact support@izeeker.co to request a free hardwire kit.

The dashcam offers two parking monitoring modes:

  • Mode 1: Impact Detection: The camera automatically turns on and records a 30-second locked video when an impact is detected while parked.
  • Mode 2: Time-Lapse Video: The camera records at 1 image per second, efficiently monitoring your vehicle without using excessive memory. No detail is missed during parking.

Viewing Recorded Footage

On the Dashcam Screen

You can review recorded videos directly on the dashcam's 2.99" IPS screen by navigating through the menu options.

Via the "Viidure" App

Connect your phone to the dashcam via Wi-Fi using the "Viidure" app. You can then browse, download, and share videos from the app's interface.

On a Computer (PC)

  1. Turn off the dashcam.
  2. Gently press the MicroSD card to eject it from the slot.
  3. Insert the MicroSD card into the provided card reader.
  4. Plug the card reader into your computer's USB port.
  5. Access the video files on the MicroSD card. For optimal playback, use a compatible media player like Fig Player or Pot Player.
  6. To reinsert the card into the dashcam, ensure the camera is off, then push the card firmly into the slot until you hear a "click".

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your iZEEKER dashcam, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the car's ignition is on. Check the car charger for proper function.
  • Recording issues: Format the MicroSD card regularly (at least once a month) to maintain optimal performance. Ensure the card is inserted correctly. If using a non-original card, follow camera instructions to format it.
  • Wi-Fi connection problems: Keep your phone close to the camera (within 3 meters). Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone and you are connecting to the correct network (iD440-XXXXXX). Ignore "No Internet Connection" warnings.
  • Video quality issues: Ensure the lenses are clean and free from smudges or dust. Check that the protective films have been removed from both front and rear camera lenses.
  • Voice prompts in English only: The voice prompts are in English. Volume and language settings for the app can be adjusted within the "Viidure" application.
  • Parking monitoring not working: A hardwire kit is required for 24-hour parking monitoring. Ensure it is correctly installed.
