2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the Dometic CFX3 from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. Ensure all included components are present: 1 cooler, 1 manual, 1 connection cable for 12/24V, 1 connection cable for 120V, and removable wire baskets.

2.2 Power Connection

The CFX3 can be powered via AC (120V), DC (12/24V), or solar. Select the appropriate cable and connect it to the unit's input port. For optimal performance, ensure a stable power source.

2.3 App Installation and Connectivity

Download the Dometic CFX3 App from your device's app store. The app allows remote monitoring and control of temperature, power, and provides performance history. Connect via Bluetooth or WiFi for full functionality.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Temperature Control

Use the high-resolution color display and soft-touch buttons on the unit, or the CFX3 App, to set your desired temperature. The unit can refrigerate or deep freeze down to –7 °F.

3.2 Single or Dual Zone Operation (if applicable)

For models with dual zones (not applicable to the 25 Liter model), you can independently control the temperature of each compartment. The 25 Liter model operates as a single zone.

3.3 Battery Protection System

The integrated 3-stage dynamic battery protection system prevents your vehicle's battery from draining completely. You can adjust the battery protection level (High, Medium, Low) via the unit's display or the app, depending on your power source and usage needs.

4.1 Cleaning the Unit

Regularly clean the interior and exterior of your CFX3 with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

4.2 Defrosting
