1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference. Incorrect use may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
  • Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
  • Do not operate the kettle if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Place the kettle on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from hot surfaces or open flames.
  • Do not fill the kettle above the maximum fill line or below the minimum fill line to prevent boiling dry or splashing.
  • Always close the lid securely before operating the kettle.
  • Exercise extreme caution when pouring hot water.
  • The outer surface of the kettle may become hot during use. Avoid touching hot surfaces. The double-wall insulation helps keep the exterior cooler, but caution is still advised.
  • Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • This kettle features automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection for your safety.
  • All parts in contact with water are made from BPA-free materials.

3. Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels from the kettle.
  3. Inspect the kettle for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

Before First Use:

  1. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX mark.
  2. Boil the water as described in the 'Operating Instructions' section.
  3. Discard the boiled water.
  4. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues and ensure the best taste.

4. Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle:

  1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
  2. Open the lid.
  3. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks.
  4. Close the lid securely.

Boiling Water:

  1. Place the kettle back onto its power base.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Press the ON/OFF switch (usually located at the bottom of the handle or on the base). The LED indicator will illuminate.
  4. The kettle will begin to heat the water.
  5. Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the LED indicator will extinguish.

Pouring Water:

  1. Carefully lift the kettle from its power base.
  2. Pour the hot water slowly and steadily to avoid splashing.
  3. Always hold the kettle by its handle, as the body may still be warm despite double-wall insulation.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle and ensure optimal performance.

Exterior Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Ensure the power base and electrical connections remain dry.

Interior Cleaning and Descaling:

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale regularly to maintain efficiency.

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Allow the solution to soak in the kettle for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy deposits.
  4. Pour out the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  5. For stubborn deposits, gently scrub the interior with a soft brush or sponge.
  6. The removable sediment filter can be rinsed under running water.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your kettle, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
