Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • Waterproof Kitchen Scale (x1)
  • USB Charging Cable (x1)
  • 50g Calibration Weight (x1)
  • AAA Batteries (x2)
  • User Manual (x1)

Powering the Scale

The scale offers three power supply options:

  1. USB-C Rechargeable Battery: The scale has a built-in lithium battery. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the scale and a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port) to charge. The battery icon on the display will flash during charging and become steady when fully charged.
  2. Direct Power Adapter: The scale can be used directly while connected to a power adapter via the USB-C cable, even without a charged internal battery.
  3. AAA Batteries: For portable use, insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment located on the underside of the scale. Ensure correct polarity.

Note: If using AAA batteries, remove them before cleaning the scale by submerging it in water.

Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn the scale off.

Unit Conversion

With the scale on, press the MODE button to cycle through the available units: g (grams), tl (taels), ct (carats), fl:oz (fluid ounces), lb:oz (pounds:ounces), lb (pounds), oz (ounces), milk ml (milk milliliters), ml (milliliters), kg (kilograms).

Tare Function

To weigh items in a container without including the container's weight:

  1. Place the empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to zero.
  3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.

PCS Counting Function

This function allows you to count multiple small, uniform items.

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure it is in weighing mode (not PCS).
  2. Press and hold the PCS button until "PCS" appears on the display.
  3. Select a sample quantity (e.g., 25, 50, 75, 100) by pressing the MODE button.
  4. Place the selected sample quantity of items on the platform.
  5. Press the PCS button again to confirm. The scale is now calibrated for counting these items.
  6. Add more items, and the display will show the total count.

Calibration

The scale comes with a 50g calibration weight for ensuring accuracy. If you suspect inaccurate readings, perform calibration:

  1. Turn on the scale.
  2. Press and hold the MODE button until "CAL" appears, then release.
  3. The display will show the required calibration weight (e.g., "50.0g").
  4. Place the included 50g calibration weight precisely in the center of the weighing platform.
  5. Wait for the display to show "PASS" or return to normal weighing mode, indicating successful calibration.

Screen Brightness Adjustment

To adjust the LCD screen brightness:

  1. Press the ON/OFF button.
  2. Immediately press the MODE button three times.
  3. During the third press, hold down the MODE button to enter adjustment mode.
  4. Press TARE to switch to "C6-2" mode.
  5. Press MODE to adjust the brightness level (1, 2, or 3).
