4. Setup

4.1 Initial Connection

The ZUCWO portable monitor is designed for plug-and-play functionality. No drivers are typically required for basic operation.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's USB Type-C port (labeled for power) and then to a power outlet. Alternatively, use the provided USB A-C cable for power if your device can supply sufficient power.
  2. Video Connection:
    • USB Type-C (Full Feature): If your device supports Thunderbolt 3.0/3.1 or DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C, use the provided full-feature Type-C cable to connect your device to the monitor. This single cable can transmit both video and power.
    • HDMI: Use the provided HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable to connect your device's HDMI output to the monitor's Mini-HDMI input. Ensure the monitor is also powered via a separate USB-C power connection.
  3. Audio (Optional): If you prefer external audio, connect headphones or external speakers to the 3.5mm audio jack on the monitor.

Note: Always use the original cables provided with the monitor for optimal performance and compatibility.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power/Back button located on the side of the monitor to turn it on or off.

5.2 Menu Navigation

Use the Pulley button (scroll wheel) to navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Press the Pulley button to enter the menu, scroll up/down to select options, and press again to confirm. The Power/Back button can be used to go back or exit the menu.

5.3 Adjusting Settings

Within the OSD menu, you can adjust various settings including:

  • Brightness/Contrast: Optimize display visibility.
  • Color Settings: Adjust color temperature, hue, and saturation.
  • Input Source: Manually select between USB-C and HDMI inputs.
  • Audio: Control volume and mute options for built-in speakers or connected headphones.
  • HDR Mode: Enable or disable High Dynamic Range for enhanced visual quality.

6. Connectivity

The ZUCWO portable monitor offers flexible connectivity options:

  • USB Type-C (Full Feature): For devices supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode, a single USB-C cable provides both power and video.
  • Mini-HDMI: Connects to devices with standard HDMI output. Requires separate power via USB-C.
  • USB Type-C (Power Only): Used for supplying power to the monitor when using HDMI for video, or when the primary USB-C connection does not provide sufficient power.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting headphones or external speakers.

7. Display Modes

The monitor supports various display modes when connected to a compatible device:

  • Extend Mode: Extends your desktop workspace, allowing for multitasking across two screens.
  • Mirror Mode: Duplicates your primary screen, ideal for presentations or sharing content.
  • Main Screen Mode: Uses the portable monitor as the primary display.

8. Maintenance
