1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the OSCAL PowerMax 6000 Portable Power Station. This high-capacity solar generator is designed to provide reliable power for various applications, including home backup, outdoor camping, RV use, and emergency situations. With its expandable capacity and robust features, the PowerMax 6000 ensures you have power when and where you need it most.

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your PowerMax 6000. Please read it thoroughly before using the device.

2. Safety Instructions

Always follow these basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:

  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit.
  • Do not place the unit near fire or expose it to heat.
  • Do not store or use in direct sunlight or high temperatures.
  • Do not use or store in a bathroom or in areas exposed to water or rain.
  • Use only original or certified cables and accessories.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Ensure proper ventilation during use to prevent overheating.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the ports.
  • In case of leakage or abnormal odor, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the PowerMax 6000 and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If any components are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the PowerMax 6000. Connect the provided AC charging cable to the unit's AC input port and then to a wall outlet. The display will indicate the charging status. A full charge from 0% to 100% can be completed within approximately 1.96 hours using the 2200W AC input.

The PowerMax 6000 also supports solar charging (up to 2400W input), car charging, and other methods for flexible recharging.

4. Operating the Power Station

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the unit, press and hold the main power button until the display illuminates. To power off, press and hold the main power button again until the display turns off.

4.2 Connecting Devices

The PowerMax 6000 offers multiple output ports to connect various devices:

  • AC Output: 4 AC output ports, providing 6000W continuous power (7200W peak). Supports 120V/240V dual voltage.
  • USB-A Output: 4 USB-A output ports for charging smaller devices.
  • USB-C Output: 2 100W fast USB-C output ports.
  • Car Output: 1 car output port.
  • DC Output: 4 DC output ports.

Simply plug your device into the appropriate port and ensure the corresponding output section (AC, USB, DC) is activated on the unit's display or via the mobile app.

4.3 Expandable Capacity

The PowerMax 6000's capacity can be expanded from 3600Wh to 7200Wh by connecting the BP3600 Expansion Battery. For even greater capacity, multiple units can be connected in parallel, reaching up to 57600Wh with 15 BP3600 battery packs.

4.4 EPS Uninterruptible Power Supply

Equipped with an EPS (Emergency Power Supply) function, the PowerMax 6000 automatically switches to battery power within 5-8 milliseconds during a power outage. This ensures uninterrupted operation for critical equipment like network devices or medical machines.

4.5 Lighthouse-like Signal Light

The PowerMax 6000 features a unique signal light function that can blink in Morse Code for numbers 0-9 and alphabets A-Z. This can be controlled via the Smart APP and is useful for communication in emergency or remote situations.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris.

5.2 Storage

Store the PowerMax 6000 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the unit to approximately 50-80% every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

5.3 Battery Care

The PowerMax 6000 uses durable LiFePO4 batteries, designed for over 3500 charge and discharge cycles, ensuring a long service life of up to 25 years. The advanced eight-layer safety BMS protects against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and temperature fluctuations.

6. Troubleshooting
