2. Setup

3. Operating Instructions
The timer features an LCD display and several control buttons for easy programming. Refer to Figure 3 for button identification.

3.1. Setting Current Time and Day
- Press the CLOCK button and hold it.
- While holding CLOCK, press WEEK to set the current day of the week (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
- While holding CLOCK, press HOUR to set the current hour (0-23).
- While holding CLOCK, press MINUTE to set the current minute (0-59).
- Release the CLOCK button. The time is now set.
3.2. Programming ON/OFF Times
The timer allows for up to 10 ON/OFF programs. Each program consists of an ON time and an OFF time.
- Press the TIMER button once. The display will show "1 ON".
- Press WEEK to select the day(s) for this program (e.g., individual days, weekdays, weekends, all days, etc.).
- Press HOUR to set the desired ON hour.
- Press MINUTE to set the desired ON minute.
- Press TIMER again. The display will show "1 OFF".
- Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF time for the same program.
- Press TIMER to advance to the next program ("2 ON", "2 OFF", etc.) and repeat the process for up to 10 programs.
- After setting all desired programs, press the CLOCK button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.
3.3. Operating Modes (ON/AUTO/OFF/RANDOM)
Press the ON/AUTO/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through the operating modes:
- ON: The connected appliance will remain continuously ON, overriding all programmed settings.
- AUTO: The connected appliance will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF times. This is the standard operating mode for timed functions.
- OFF: The connected appliance will remain continuously OFF, overriding all programmed settings.
Press the RANDOM button to activate or deactivate the random function. When active, the timer will randomly turn the appliance ON or OFF within a set window around the programmed times, providing a security feature to simulate occupancy.
3.4. Resetting Programs / Clearing Settings
To clear all programmed settings and reset the timer to its default state, press the RST/RCL button. This will erase all ON/OFF programs and reset the current time. You will need to reprogram the timer from scratch after a reset.
