4. Setup and Assembly

The Softa Adjustable Bed Frame is designed for quick and easy assembly, often by one person. No specialized tools are required.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Position Frame Sections: The bed base consists of five interconnected panels. Unfold or arrange these panels in the desired location for the bed. The five-panel structure facilitates movement through narrow spaces.
  3. Attach Legs: Screw the eight support legs into the designated threaded receivers on the underside of the frame. Ensure they are tightened securely.
  4. Install Mattress Retainer Bar: Attach the mattress retainer bar at the foot of the bed frame. This prevents the mattress from sliding when the bed is adjusted.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord from the motor into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Place Mattress: Carefully place your Twin XL mattress onto the assembled bed frame.
