5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

The iT30 Pro N features a built-in lithium battery. To charge:

  1. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the flash unit's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 560 full-power flashes.

5.2 Mounting the Flash on a Camera

To mount the iT30 Pro N onto your Nikon camera's hot shoe:

  1. Ensure the camera and flash are powered off.
  2. Slide the flash's mounting foot into the camera's hot shoe.
  3. Press the quick-release button on the flash foot to secure it in place. To remove, press the button again and slide the flash out.

6.1 Touchscreen Operation

The iT30 Pro N features a 2.8-inch full-color touchscreen. Swipe through settings and adjust power levels with a tap. A traditional rotary dial is also available for fine-tuning flash output.
