Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your door opening dimensions match the requirements for this bifold door (24" x 80"). The door panels are pre-drilled for easy hinge installation.
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Measuring Tape
- Pencil
- Drill
- Screwdriver (Phillips head recommended)
- Level
- Saw (if trimming is necessary)
Installation Steps:
- Measure and Prepare Opening: Carefully measure the width and height of your door opening. Ensure it is 24 inches wide and 80 inches high. If necessary, trim the door panels. A trimming allowance of 1/4 inch from each side is permissible.
- Install Hinges: Attach the three panel hinges to the two door panels. The panels are pre-drilled to guide hinge placement. Ensure hinges are securely fastened.
- Install Track: Mount the track (29 13/16" length) inside the top of the door frame. Use appropriate fasteners for your wall material. Ensure the track is level and securely attached.
- Install Top and Bottom Pivots: Install the top pivot set into the top of the lead door panel and the bottom pivot set into the bottom of the lead door panel. These pivots will engage with the track and floor bracket.
- Install Panel Guides: Attach the panel guides to the top of the trailing door panel. These guides will slide within the track.
- Hang the Door: Carefully lift the assembled door panels. Insert the top pivot into the track and the bottom pivot into its floor bracket. Then, guide the panel guides into the track.
- Adjust and Secure: Adjust the top and bottom pivots to ensure the door hangs plumb and operates smoothly. Secure the track stops at the ends of the track to prevent the door from sliding too far.
- Install Door Knob: Attach the door knob to the lead door panel at a comfortable height.

Operation
Your JUBEST bifold door is designed for smooth and quiet operation. To open the door, gently pull the knob on the lead panel. The panels will fold inward, allowing access to the opening. To close, push the lead panel until the door is fully extended and closed within the frame.
- Ensure the track is free of debris to maintain smooth gliding.
- Avoid forcing the door if it encounters resistance; check for obstructions or alignment issues.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the door panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the primed surface.
Painting/Finishing (DIY):
The door panel surface is primed, allowing you to customize its color to match your interior design. For best results and to maintain structural integrity, the door must be finished on all six sides (front, back, and all four edges) with your preferred paint or finish.
