The Edifier WH950NB Gen 2 headphones feature intuitive controls located on the earcups for easy access to various functions.

Music Controls:

• Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
• Volume Up: Press the top volume button once.
• Volume Down: Press the bottom volume button once.
• Next Track: Press and hold the top volume button for 3 seconds.
• Previous Track: Press and hold the bottom volume button for 3 seconds.

Call Controls:

• Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once.
• Reject Call: Press the multi-function button twice.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Press the multi-function button twice.

Mode Controls:

• Switch ANC Modes (Noise Cancellation/Ambient Sound/Wind Reduction/Off): Press the ANC button once.
• Switch Sound Effects (Music/Game/Spatial Sound): Press the ANC button twice.

Setup

Power On/Off:

• Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. The blue LED will blink once.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. The red LED will blink once.

Bluetooth Pairing:

The headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint connection and Google Fast Pair for Android devices.

1. First-time Pairing: Power on the headphones. They will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by the LED blinking blue and white alternately. On your device, select "EDIFIER WH950NB" from the Bluetooth list. Once connected, the blue LED will blink twice.
2. Pairing a New Device: With the headphones powered on, press and hold the multi-function button for about 3 seconds to re-enter pairing mode. The voice prompt will say "Pairing," and the LED will blink blue and white alternately. Then, select "EDIFIER WH950NB" on your new device to pair.
3. Multipoint Connection: Pair your first device (Device A) with the headphones. Keep the headphones powered on, then press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds to re-enter pairing mode. Select "EDIFIER WH950NB" on your second device (Device B) to pair. Finally, go back to Device A and reconnect to "EDIFIER WH950NB" to complete multipoint connection.

For full customization and advanced features, download the EDIFIER ConneX app from your device's app store or by scanning the QR code on the product packaging/user manual. The app allows you to:

Operating Instructions

Wired Connection:

To use wired mode, connect the headphones to your device using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable. The wired connection will automatically disable Bluetooth mode.

Sound Modes & Effects:

The headphones offer various sound modes and effects, accessible via the multi-function button or the EDIFIER ConneX app:

• Music Mode: Optimized for general music listening.
• Game Mode: Provides ultra-low latency (50ms) for seamless and synchronized gaming. Note: This mode may reduce sound quality.
• Spatial Sound: Creates a cinema-grade surround sound atmosphere for immersive audio experiences.
• Sound Effects (EQ): Choose from preset equalizers like Edifier, Jazz, Rock, Bass, or create a customized EQ profile via the app.

The WH950NB Gen 2 features Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation with 8 customizable levels, along with Ambient Sound and Wind Noise Reduction modes.

• Noise Cancellation: Reduces external noise by up to -49dB. Adjustable through 8 levels via the app.
• Ambient Sound: Allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the headphones.
• Wind Reduction: Minimizes wind noise for clearer audio in windy environments.

Charging

• Battery Life: Up to 80 hours with ANC off, and 45 hours with ANC on.
• Low Battery Indication: When the battery is less than 2%, a voice prompt will notify you: "Low battery, please charge," and the red LED will flash every 5 seconds.
• Charging: Plug the USB-C charging cable into the headphones and connect it to a wall charger. The LED will stay solid red while charging and will turn off when fully charged.
• Fast Charging: A 15-minute charge provides approximately 13 hours of playback.
• Check Battery Status: You can check the battery status in the EDIFIER ConneX App.

Maintenance

• Clean the headphones regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the headphones to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound: Ensure headphones are powered on, paired correctly, and volume is adjusted. Check wired connection if applicable.
• Pairing Issues: Ensure headphones are in pairing mode. Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device and try again.
• Poor Sound Quality: Check audio source quality. Ensure LDAC is enabled on your device if supported. Adjust EQ settings in the app.
• ANC Not Effective: Ensure earcups form a good seal around your ears. Adjust ANC levels in the app.
• Microphone Issues: Ensure headphones are connected and selected as the audio input device. Check for background noise.

1. Ensure the headphones are powered on.
2. Press and hold the top and bottom volume buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
3. The white LED will blink six times, and a voice prompt will say "Disconnected."
4. The headphones will then enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by the LED blinking blue and white alternately.
5. You can now re-pair your device following the pairing instructions.
