Setup Guide
1. Unpacking and Battery Installation
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Locate the battery compartments on both the main clock unit and the wireless outdoor sensor.
- Main Clock Unit: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock. Insert three (3) AA alkaline batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Replace the cover.
- Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover. Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Replace the cover.

2. Initial Synchronization
After installing batteries, the clock will automatically begin searching for the atomic time signal and the outdoor sensor signal. This process may take several minutes. Ensure both units are within reasonable proximity during initial setup.
3. Placement of the Main Clock Unit
The main clock unit can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated fold-out stand or mounted on a wall using the keyhole slot on the back.
- Tabletop Placement: Extend the fold-out stand on the back of the clock to position it upright on a flat surface.
- Wall Mounting: Use a screw (not included) securely fastened into a wall stud or appropriate anchor. Hang the clock using the keyhole slot.

4. Placement of the Outdoor Sensor
For accurate temperature readings, the outdoor sensor should be placed in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. It should also be within 165 feet (50 meters) of the main clock unit.
- Hang the sensor using its integrated hanger on a tree branch, under an eave, or on a post or fence.
- Avoid placing the sensor near heat sources (e.g., air conditioning units, vents) or reflective surfaces that could affect temperature readings.
