1. Overview

The Instant Pot 4QT VORTEX 6-in-1 Mini Air Fryer is a compact kitchen appliance designed for versatile cooking. It offers six primary functions: Air Fry, Bake, Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, and Reheat. 2. Important Safeguards

2.1 General Safety

2.2 Electrical Safety

The appliance operates on 120 V ~ 60 Hz.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.

3. Before First Use

3.1 Unpacking

Remove all packaging materials from inside and around the appliance.
Place the appliance on a stable, level surface away from heat sources.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Wash the air fryer basket and cooking tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The basket and tray are dishwasher-safe.
Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

5.1 Buttons and Dial

Central Dial: Used to select cooking functions, adjust temperature, and set time.
Function Buttons: Dedicated buttons for Air Fry, Bake, Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, and Reheat.
Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the cooking cycle.
Cancel Button: Stops the current cooking program.
Light Button: Activates the internal light to view food through the ClearCook window.

6. Initial Test Run

It is recommended to perform a test run to ensure the appliance is functioning correctly and to eliminate any manufacturing odors.

Insert the empty air fryer basket and cooking tray into the main unit.
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Select the 'Air Fry' function.
Set the temperature to 400°F (204°C) and the time to 10 minutes.
Press the Start button.
Allow the cycle to complete. A slight odor may be present during the first use; this is normal.
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.

7. Operating Instructions

The Instant Pot VORTEX Mini Air Fryer offers six cooking programs. Always ensure the cooking tray is placed inside the basket before adding food.

7.1 General Steps for Cooking

Place the cooking tray into the air fryer basket.
Add food to the air fryer basket. Do not overfill.
Insert the basket into the main unit.
Select the desired cooking function (e.g., Air Fry).
Adjust the temperature and time using the central dial.
Press the Start button to begin cooking.
The appliance will beep to indicate when to turn or shake food (if applicable for the selected program).
Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully remove the basket and food.

7.2 EvenCrisp Technology

8. Care and Cleaning

Regular cleaning maintains the performance and longevity of your air fryer.

Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
The air fryer basket and cooking tray are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
Clean the heating element with a soft brush if necessary, ensuring the appliance is unplugged and cool.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
