Setup Guide

  1. Install Batteries:
    • For the keyboard: Open the battery compartment on the underside and insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
    • For the mouse: Open the battery compartment on the underside and insert 1 AA battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity. The USB receiver is typically stored here.
  2. Retrieve USB Receiver: Carefully remove the 2.4G USB receiver from its storage slot within the mouse's battery compartment.
  3. Connect Receiver: Insert the USB 2.4G receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer (desktop, laptop, or Surface device).
  4. Power On:
    • For the keyboard: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top right side of the keyboard and slide it to the "ON" position.
    • For the mouse: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the underside of the mouse and slide it to the "ON" position.
  5. Automatic Connection: The keyboard and mouse should automatically connect to your computer. No additional drivers or pairing steps are typically required for the 2.4G connection.

Battery Installation & Management

  • The keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries.
  • The mouse requires 1 AA battery.
  • Auto-Sleep Function: To conserve battery life, the keyboard enters auto-sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity, and the mouse after 8 minutes.
  • Waking Devices: To wake the keyboard, press any key (except the Windows key). To wake the mouse, simply move it.

Troubleshooting

Mouse cursor erratic or not moving smoothly
