Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Bettdow Lightweight Magic Keyboard Case, Model A1935. This accessory is designed to enhance the functionality of your compatible iPad, transforming it into a portable productivity device.

Setup

Charging the Keyboard

Before initial use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB cable to the Type-C charging port located on the hinge of the keyboard and to a power source. The LCD display will show the battery level, and a charging indicator will be visible.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure your iPad's Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Place your iPad onto the magnetic stand of the keyboard case.
3. The keyboard will automatically power on.
4. On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth and select "Bettdow Keyboard" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
5. Once paired, the Bluetooth status indicator on the keyboard's LCD display will confirm the connection.

Operating Instructions

Automatic Sleep and Wake Function

The keyboard case features an automatic sleep and wake function. Opening the case will automatically wake up your iPad and the keyboard. Closing the case will put your iPad and the keyboard into sleep mode, conserving battery life.

Multi-Touch Trackpad

The integrated precision trackpad supports full Multi-Touch gestures, allowing for efficient navigation and interaction with your iPad. This includes swiping, scrolling, pinching, and switching applications, similar to a laptop experience.

Backlight Control

The keyboard features 7-color backlighting with 3 adjustable brightness levels. This allows for comfortable typing in various lighting conditions.

• To switch on the backlight or adjust brightness: Press Fn + Cmd.
• To change the backlight color: Press Fn + Control.

iPadOS Function Keys

The keyboard includes a full set of iPadOS shortcut keys to quickly access functions such as adjusting brightness, volume, media playback, and activating the voice assistant.

Magnetic Levitation Design

Troubleshooting

Keyboard Characters Do Not Match Input

If you encounter a situation where the characters typed on the keyboard do not match the output on your iPad screen, it may be due to an incorrect input method setting on your iPad.

Solution: Simply press the "🌐" key on the keyboard to switch the input method to English. This should resolve the character mismatch.

Keyboard Not Connecting via Bluetooth

1. Ensure the keyboard is charged.
2. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad.
3. Turn the keyboard off and on again.
4. Forget the device in your iPad's Bluetooth settings and attempt to re-pair.
5. Restart your iPad.

Trackpad Not Responding

1. Ensure the keyboard is connected via Bluetooth.
2. Check for any physical obstructions on the trackpad surface.
3. Restart the keyboard and iPad.
