3. Setup
3.1 Attaching Accessories
The Dyson Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer features magnetic attachments for easy and secure fitting. To attach an accessory, simply align it with the front of the dryer and it will snap into place magnetically. To remove, gently pull the attachment away from the dryer.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Controls
The hair dryer features intuitive controls located on the handle and head:
- Power Button: Turns the dryer on/off.
- Temperature Control: Adjusts heat settings (cold, low, medium, high). Indicated by red LED lights.
- Airflow Control: Adjusts airflow speed (low, medium, high). Indicated by blue LED lights.

- Scalp Protect Mode: A Time of Flight sensor automatically adjusts temperature to enhance natural shine and help protect your scalp. This mode is active when using the Gentle Air attachment or Styling Concentrator.
- Pause Detect Mode: A motion-sensing accelerometer detects when the dryer is put down during styling or sectioning. It automatically deactivates the heater, decreasing airflow and noise, and reactivates when picked up.
- Attachment Learning: A Hall sensor recognizes each attachment as you use it and automatically adapts to your preferred airflow and heat settings for that specific attachment.

Each attachment is designed for specific styling needs:
- Styling Concentrator: For precise, controlled styling. Use with a round brush for smooth, sweeping styles like curtain bangs.
- Diffuser: Designed to disperse air evenly around your curls, helping to reduce frizz and define waves and curls. Can be used in 'Dome mode' for natural waves or 'Diffuse mode' for textured curls.
- Gentle Air Attachment: Provides a cooler, gentler airflow for fine hair and sensitive scalps. Ideal for rough drying roots before styling or creating textured crops.
- Wide-tooth Comb: Helps to shape and lengthen curly and textured hair as it dries.
- Flyaway Attachment: Smooths flyaways for a sleek, shiny finish.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Filter
Regularly clean the filter to maintain optimal performance. The filter is located at the bottom of the handle. Twist and pull down the filter cage to remove it. Wipe the mesh filter with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or hair buildup. Reattach the filter cage by pushing it back into place and twisting until secure.
6. Troubleshooting
If you experience any issues with your Dyson Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer, please consider the following:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Reduced Airflow/Performance: Clean the filter as described in the Maintenance section. Excessive dust or hair can restrict airflow.
