Setup Guide
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your Arctis Nova 3X headset. Connect the included charging cable to the USB-C port on the headset and to a powered USB port. A full charge provides up to 40 hours of use. For quick use, a 15-minute charge can provide up to 9 hours of playback.

Connecting the Microphone
The ClearCast microphone is detachable. Insert the microphone into the dedicated port on the left earcup until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the microphone is fully inserted for optimal voice clarity.

Wireless Connection (2.4GHz)
- Insert the USB-C wireless dongle into an available USB-C port on your gaming platform (Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Switch, handhelds, mobile). If your device only has USB-A ports, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter.
- Power on the headset by pressing and holding the power button.
- The headset and dongle should automatically pair. A solid light on the dongle indicates a successful connection.

Bluetooth Connection
- With the headset powered on, quickly tap the power button to switch to Bluetooth mode (Quick-Switch Wireless).
- On your mobile device or computer, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Arctis Nova 3X" from the list of available devices.
- The headset will indicate a successful Bluetooth connection.

Download the SteelSeries Arctis Companion App on your mobile device to unlock full audio control. The app provides access to over 200 game audio presets, allowing you to customize your sound experience for specific games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, and more. You can change audio presets in real-time without interrupting your game.

Microphone Usage
The ClearCast microphone offers superior voice clarity with its high-bandwidth 32KHz/16-bit audio support. Position the microphone approximately two fingers' width from the corner of your mouth for optimal pickup. The microphone can be retracted into the earcup or completely detached when not in use.
