5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

1. Connect the provided power cord to the AC socket on the rear panel and then to a power outlet.

3. To power off, flip the POWER switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Using 48V Phantom Power

For condenser microphones, 48V phantom power is required.

1. Connect your condenser microphone to an XLR/TRS combo jack.
2. Press the 'PHANTOM +48V' button corresponding to the channel. The indicator light will turn red.
3. Ensure all volume levels are low before activating/deactivating phantom power to prevent damage to equipment.

5.3 Adjusting Channel Levels and EQ

1. Use the GAIN knob to set the input level for each microphone or instrument. Adjust until the 'PEAK' LED flashes only occasionally.
2. Utilize the HIGH, MID, and LOW knobs to sculpt the tone of each channel.
3. Adjust the LEVEL knob for each channel to balance the mix.

5.4 Using DSP Effects

1. Turn the DSP knob to select from the 99 available effects (e.g., Hall, Room, Delay, Echo, Reverb, Karaoke, Pitch, Chorus, Tremolo, Flange, Auto Tune).
2. Press the DSP knob to confirm your selection.
3. Adjust the FX knob on each channel to send the desired amount of signal to the effects processor.
4. Use the FX MASTER knob to control the overall level of the applied effects.

5.5 USB & Bluetooth Connectivity

• Bluetooth Playback: Press the 'MODE' button until 'BT' appears on the display. Search for 'BT-AUDIO' on your smartphone or tablet and connect. You can then stream background music or other audio wirelessly.
• USB Flash Drive Playback/Recording: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB Type-A port. Use the 'MODE' button to select playback or recording. For recording, switch to 'REC' mode and press the MP3 knob to start/pause recording.
