3. Setup and Before First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wash the cooking basket and tray with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space around the appliance (sides and back) and above it for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- First Use Burn-off: It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C before first use to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell or smoke may occur, which is normal. Ensure good ventilation during this process.
4. Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview:
The air fryer features a colorful control panel with a touch sensor and a central knob for setting temperature and time, and selecting preset menus.
- Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
- Preset Menu Icons: Select from 12 pre-programmed cooking functions.
- Temperature/Time Display: Shows current temperature and remaining cooking time.
- Knob: Rotate to adjust temperature or time, press to confirm selection or switch between temperature/time settings.
- Mist Button: Activates the mist spray function.
- Light Button: Turns the interior cooking light on/off.
General Operation:
- Prepare Food: Place ingredients in the cooking basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Insert Basket: Slide the basket firmly into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
- Select Cooking Method:
- Using Preset Menus: Rotate the knob to cycle through the 12 preset menu icons. Press the knob to select a preset. The default temperature and time for that preset will be displayed.
- Manual Setting: If not using a preset, the display will show default temperature/time. Rotate the knob to adjust the temperature (50-200°C). Press the knob to switch to time adjustment, then rotate to set the cooking time (up to 60 minutes).
- Start Cooking: Once temperature and time are set (either manually or via preset), press the Power button again to start cooking. The display will show "working".
- Mist Spray Function: If desired, fill the 150ml water tank (located at the back) with clean water. During cooking, press the Mist button on the control panel to activate the mist spray. This helps achieve juicier results.
- Interior Light: Press the Light button to illuminate the interior and check cooking progress through the viewing window.
- Shaking/Turning Food: For some recipes, it may be necessary to shake or turn the food halfway through cooking. Pull out the basket, shake/turn, and reinsert. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
- End of Cooking: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete and automatically shut off. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food.
- Memory Function: The appliance remembers your last manual temperature and time settings for convenience.
- 12-Hour Preset Timer: To delay the start of cooking, set your desired cooking program (temperature and time), then activate the preset timer function (refer to specific instructions in the full manual for detailed steps on setting the delay timer).
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
