Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Before First Use / Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Cleaning: Before first use, clean the basket and tray with warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.

- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation. Ensure there is at least 10cm of free space on the back, sides, and above the appliance.
- Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your power outlet matches the voltage specified on the appliance (220-240V~, 50/60Hz). Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
Operating Instructions
General Operation:
- Prepare Food: Place ingredients into the air fryer basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Insert Basket: Slide the basket firmly back into the air fryer until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Plug the appliance into a power outlet. The control panel will illuminate.
- Select Program/Settings:
- Use the knob or touch controls to select one of the 10 preset menus, or manually set the desired temperature (80-200°C) and time (up to 60 minutes).
- The interior cooking light can be activated to monitor food progress through the transparent window.
- Start Cooking: Press the "Start/Stop" button to begin the cooking process.
- Shake/Flip (Optional): For some foods, it is recommended to shake or flip the ingredients halfway through the cooking time. Carefully pull out the basket, shake/flip, and reinsert. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
- Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food.
- Power Off: Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet after use.
Using Preset Menus:
The Mayer MMAF551D comes with 10 convenient preset menus for common dishes. Refer to the icons on the control panel for specific food types. Selecting a preset will automatically set the optimal temperature and time, which can then be adjusted manually if desired.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean Basket and Tray: The non-stick basket and tray can be washed with warm soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them in warm water for a few minutes before cleaning. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials or metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating.

- Clean Interior: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the interior of the appliance. If necessary, a small amount of mild detergent can be used.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.
