Setup and Installation

  1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Ensure the mounting location is secure and can support the fan's weight.
  2. Attach the Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using appropriate screws.
  3. Assemble Downrod and Canopy:
    • Thread the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod.
    • Insert the downrod into the fan motor housing and secure it with the provided pin and screw.
    • Slide the canopy over the downrod.
  4. Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket's hook or slot.
  5. Make Electrical Connections:
    • Connect the ground wire (green/bare copper) from the fan to the ground wire from the ceiling.
    • Connect the neutral wire (white) from the fan to the neutral wire from the ceiling.
    • Connect the live wire (black) from the fan to the live wire from the ceiling.
    • Secure all connections with wire nuts.
  6. Attach the Canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with screws.
  7. Install the Lampshade: Carefully attach the Tiffany-style lampshade to the fan motor assembly. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  8. Restore Power: Turn on power at the circuit breaker.
