2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly

Estimated assembly time: 15 minutes. Tools are included.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of the five-star chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the five-star base.
3. Attach Armrests to Backrest: Secure the flip-up armrests to the backrest using the provided bolts and Allen key. Do not fully tighten yet.
4. Attach Backrest/Armrest Assembly to Seat: Align the backrest and armrest assembly with the seat cushion. Secure with bolts, ensuring the 'FRONT' indicator on the seat is facing forward. Tighten all bolts from step 3 and 4 completely.
5. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Secure the tilt mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the appropriate bolts. Ensure the control levers are facing the rear of the chair.
6. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the mechanism's center hole aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

5. Operating Instructions

Your amseatec office chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:

• Height Adjustment: Use the lever located under the seat on the right side to adjust the chair's height. Lift the lever while seated to lower the chair, or lift the lever while standing to raise it.
• Tilt Function with Tension Control: The chair features a 90–110° rocking tilt. Pull the lever on the left side outwards to enable the tilt function. Push it inwards to lock the chair in an upright position. The tension control knob under the seat allows you to adjust the resistance of the tilt. Turn clockwise for more resistance, counter-clockwise for less.
• Flip-Up Armrests: The armrests can be flipped up to allow the chair to slide further under a desk, saving space. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position.
• 360° Swivel: The chair's base allows for smooth 360° rotation.
