Product Overview
The LONGRUF G916 GPS Navigator is a 7-inch touch screen navigation system designed for cars, trucks, RVs, and motorhomes. It features the latest 2025 North America maps, voice guidance, speed camera warnings, and lifetime live map updates. Its intuitive interface and professional navigation functions ensure a safe and efficient travel experience.

Setup
1. Unboxing and Components
Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present: the GPS unit, car charger, USB cable, suction cup mount, and user manual.

2. Initial Charging
For optimal performance, fully charge the GPS unit before first use. Connect the device to the car charger and allow it to charge for at least 20 minutes for quick use, or 2 hours for normal use.
3. Mounting the GPS Navigator
The GPS Navigator comes with a suction cup mount for easy installation on your car's windshield. For a visual guide on assembling and mounting the unit, please refer to the official installation video below.

- Ensure the suction cup handle is in the released (perpendicular) position.
- Press the suction cup firmly against a clean, smooth area of your windshield.
- Flip the handle to the locked position to secure the mount.
- Adjust the angle of the GPS unit for optimal viewing, then tighten the screws to fix the position.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the ON/OFF button (refer to Figure 2) to power the device on or off. A short press will put the device into sleep mode or wake it up.
2. Navigating the 7-inch 2.5D Touch Screen
The 7-inch 2.5D touch screen offers a clear and responsive interface for easy navigation. Its advanced design provides a three-dimensional picture and eliminates blind spots for improved visibility.

3. Smart Voice Broadcast and Guidance
The GPS system provides turn-by-turn voice navigation in multiple languages. It offers comprehensive voice prompts for real-time safety navigation and direction of progress. In case of a wrong turn, the intelligent error correction quickly recalculates a new route. For highway driving, it provides clear lane guidance to prevent confusion.

5. Accurate GPS Tracking and Vehicle Customization
The 7-inch GPS Navigation system provides fast and accurate GPS tracking. It allows for route customization based on your vehicle's Weight, Length, Height, and Width, helping to avoid restricted roads. It also displays current speed and estimated arrival time.

6. Lifetime Live Map Updates
The device comes pre-installed with the latest 2025 North America maps (USA, Canada, Mexico) with 2D/3D map display and live traffic. Lifetime map updates are provided. For updates or to download maps for other countries (e.g., Europe, UK, Ireland, Australia), please contact customer support.

Maintenance
- Keep the device clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Protect the screen from scratches.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Ensure all cables are connected securely and are not pinched or damaged.
Troubleshooting
No Power / Device Not Turning On
- Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to the car charger and allow it to charge for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on.
- Check the car charger connection and ensure the vehicle's power outlet is functioning.
- If the device has a reset button (often a small pinhole), use a thin object to press it and restart the device.
GPS Signal Loss / Inaccurate Positioning
- Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky. Obstructions like tall buildings, tunnels, dense forests, or being inside a building can block GPS signals.
- Move to an open area to acquire a stronger signal.
- Bad weather conditions (snow, rain, heavy clouds) can also affect signal strength.

Touch Screen Unresponsive
- Restart the device.
- Ensure the screen is clean and free of debris or moisture.
Map Update Issues
- Ensure a stable internet connection during map downloads.
- Verify sufficient storage space on the device (16GB memory).
