3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF button on the LED touch control panel to turn on the unit.
  2. Select Ice Size: Use the SMALL or LARGE buttons to select your desired ice cube size. The selected size indicator will illuminate.
  3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice. The White LED indicator will be lit, signifying that ice is being made. The first batch of ice typically takes about 6 minutes.
  4. Monitoring Status: The LED indicators provide real-time status updates:
    • White: Making Ice
    • Red: Refill Water (add more water to the tank)
    • Green: Ice Basket Full (empty the ice basket)
    • Blue: Self-Clean Mode (see Maintenance section)
  5. Collecting Ice: Once ice is produced, use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice from the expanding ice basket. The basket automatically expands as ice fills it.
  6. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the unit when not in use.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Automatic Self-Cleaning

The Totnz Boost Ice Maker features a convenient self-cleaning function:

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled with clean water.
  2. Press the CLEAN button on the control panel. The Blue LED indicator will light up.
  3. The unit will perform an internal cleaning cycle. This process typically takes several minutes.
  4. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the unit. Refer to the 'Draining Water' section below.
