Setup and Assembly

The TRALT Ergonomic Office Chair is designed for quick and easy assembly, typically taking 25-30 minutes. All necessary components and tools are included.

1. Attach Casters to Star Base: Insert each of the 5 casters into the openings at the end of each leg of the star base until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base.
3. Assemble Armrests and Backrest: Attach the armrests to the backrest using the provided screws. Ensure they are aligned correctly.
4. Attach Backrest/Armrest Assembly to Seat: Secure the combined backrest and armrest unit to the underside of the seat cushion using the designated screws.
5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. Apply gentle downward pressure to ensure it is seated properly.

Verify all connections are tight and the chair is stable before use.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Seat Height

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, lift your weight off the chair and pull the lever up. Release the lever to lock the height.

2. Adjusting Lumbar Support

The chair features adaptable lumbar support. Locate the knob on the lower back of the chair. Rotate the knob to adjust the depth of the lumbar support, pushing it forward or retracting it to suit your preference.

3. Adjusting Armrests

The armrests are designed to flip up 90 degrees. To raise them, simply lift them upwards until they lock into a vertical position. To lower them, gently pull them down. This feature allows the chair to fit under various desk heights and saves space.

4. Tilt Function

The chair features an adjustable backrest tilt from 90° to 120°. To engage the tilt, pull the lever on the left side beneath the seat outwards (unlock). To lock the backrest in an upright position, push the lever inwards (lock). The tension of the tilt can also be adjusted by rotating the round knob located at the front underside of the seat.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: The leather cushion is skin-friendly and easy to clean. Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down surfaces. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

• Casters: Keep casters free of debris (hair, dust) to ensure smooth rolling.

Troubleshooting

• Chair not rolling smoothly: Check casters for trapped debris and clean if necessary. Ensure casters are fully inserted into the star base.
• Chair feels unstable: Verify all assembly screws are securely tightened. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
• Height adjustment not working: Check if the gas lift lever is fully engaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift cylinder may need replacement.
• Backrest not tilting: Ensure the tilt lock lever is disengaged (pulled outwards). Adjust the tilt tension knob if the backrest feels too stiff or too loose.
