Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged). A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
2. Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located at the top of the pen) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off. The device will save any current recording before shutting down.
Operating Instructions
1. Video Recording (Continuous)
- Ensure the camera is powered on.
- Press the power/mode button once briefly. The indicator light will change (e.g., from solid blue to flashing blue) to indicate that video recording has started.
- To stop recording, press the power/mode button once briefly again. The indicator light will return to standby mode (e.g., solid blue). The video file will be saved automatically.
Note: The camera records 1080P video. Files are saved in segments (e.g., every 5-10 minutes) to prevent data loss in case of power interruption.
2. Motion Detection Recording
This feature allows the camera to record only when movement is detected, conserving battery life and storage space.
- Ensure the camera is powered on and in standby mode.
- Press and hold the power/mode button for approximately 2 seconds (or as indicated by specific light pattern in your model, refer to quick start guide if provided separately) to activate motion detection mode. The indicator light will typically show a specific pattern (e.g., slow flashing red/blue).
- When motion is detected, the camera will automatically begin recording. Recording will stop a few seconds after motion ceases.
- To exit motion detection mode, press the power/mode button briefly.
3. Taking Photos
The camera is capable of capturing high-resolution still images.
- Ensure the camera is powered on and in standby mode.
- Briefly press the photo button (if separate) or a specific combination of presses on the main button. The indicator light may flash once to confirm a photo has been taken.
4. Connecting to a Computer and Viewing Files
- Power off the camera.
- Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- The camera will be recognized as a removable disk. Open the disk to access the recorded video (AVI format) and photo files.
- Copy desired files to your computer for viewing and storage.
- Safely eject the removable disk from your computer before disconnecting the camera.
5. Setting Time and Date Stamp
To ensure your recordings have the correct time and date stamp:
- Connect the camera to your computer.
- Create a new text file (e.g.,
time.txtorsettime.txt) in the root directory of the camera's storage. - Open the text file and enter the current date and time in the format:
YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS(e.g.,2026.02.19 21:30:00). - Save the file and safely eject the camera.
- The next time the camera is powered on, the time stamp will be updated.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
- Data Management: Regularly transfer important video files to your computer to prevent data loss and free up internal storage.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect to a power source and try again after charging for at least 30 minutes.
- Cannot record video:
- Check if the internal 64GB memory is full. Connect to a computer and delete unnecessary files. Ensure the camera is in the correct recording mode.
- Computer does not recognize the camera:
- Try a different USB port or cable. Ensure the camera is powered off before connecting to the computer. Restart your computer if necessary.
- Poor video quality:
