1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the JOYIN Animated Pop-Up Pumpkin Decoration. This life-sized, sound-activated Halloween prop features a pop-up head, LED red eyes, and terrifying sounds to enhance your outdoor or indoor Halloween display. Please read this manual carefully before setup and operation to ensure safe and proper use.

2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your animated pumpkin decoration:

4.1 Assembly

Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
Assemble the base and support structure according to the diagrams provided in the packaging. Ensure all connections are secure.
Attach the main pumpkin decoration body to the assembled stand. The decoration is designed to stand at approximately 67 inches (170 cm) and can extend to 73 inches (186 cm) when activated.
Position the posable arms as desired to create a spooky effect.

4.2 Battery Installation

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the decoration. (Refer to Figure 1)
Open the battery compartment cover. This may require a small screwdriver (not included).
Insert 4 new AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Placement

Place the decoration on a flat, stable surface. For outdoor use, ensure it is in a location protected from direct heavy rain and strong winds. Use additional stakes (not included) if necessary to secure the base, especially in windy conditions.

5. Operation

The JOYIN Animated Pop-Up Pumpkin Decoration is sound-activated.

5.1 Activating the Decoration

Once batteries are installed, the decoration is in standby mode.
The sound sensor has a range of approximately 1.64 feet (0.5 meters).
When a sound is detected within this range, the pumpkin's head will pop up, its LED red eyes will light up, and it will emit terrifying sounds.

To ensure consistent activation, place the decoration in an area where sounds are likely to occur within the sensor's range, such as near a walkway or entrance.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
Storage: When not in use, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the decoration in its original packaging or a protective container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the animation or sound effects become weak or inconsistent.

7. Troubleshooting
