Product Overview

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your new MOUNTO Replacement Filters:

Power Off: Before beginning, ensure your air purifier is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
Access Filter Compartment: Refer to your air purifier's specific user manual for instructions on how to open the filter compartment. This typically involves removing a front or back panel.
Remove Old Filters: Carefully remove the used filters from the air purifier. Dispose of them according to local regulations.
Unpack New Filters: The new MOUNTO filters are sealed in plastic to maintain their shelf life. It is crucial to remove all plastic packaging from both filters before installation.
Insert New Filters: Place the new MOUNTO filters into the designated slots within your air purifier. Ensure they are oriented correctly as indicated by your air purifier's manual or markings on the filter.
Close Compartment: Securely close the filter compartment panel.
Restore Power: Plug your air purifier back into the power outlet and turn it on.

Operating Principles

The MOUNTO Replacement Filter set utilizes a multi-stage filtration system to purify the air:

H13 True HEPA Filter: This filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. This includes dust, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, and other common allergens and pollutants.
Activated Carbon Filter: This layer is designed to absorb various unwanted odors and fumes. It effectively reduces chemicals, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), tobacco smoke, and common household odors such as cooking smells.

Maintenance

Filter Lifespan: For best results and to maintain air purification effectiveness, replace the filter every 6 to 12 months. The exact replacement interval may vary depending on usage frequency and environmental air quality.
Monthly Cleaning: To prolong filter efficiency, it is recommended to remove the filter once a month and gently clean it. Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting to remove accumulated dust and debris from the exterior surfaces of the filter. Do not wash the filters with water.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues after replacing your filters, consider the following:

Air Purifier Not Turning On: Ensure the air purifier is securely plugged into a working power outlet. Check if the filter compartment is fully closed and latched, as some purifiers have safety switches that prevent operation if the compartment is open.
Reduced Airflow or Odor Persistence: Verify that all plastic packaging has been completely removed from both new filters. If packaging remains, it will obstruct airflow and filtration. Ensure filters are installed correctly according to your air purifier's manual.
