5. Setup
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your VOERJIA Pole Pruner for use:
5.1. Battery Charging
- Insert the battery into the charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
- Allow 2-3 hours for a full charge. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
5.2. Assembling the Chainsaw Unit
- Choose the desired guide bar (6" or 8").
- Install the chain onto the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Attach the guide bar and chain to the chainsaw unit.
- Adjust the chain tension using the tool-free tensioning knob until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar.
5.3. Attaching the Telescopic Pole (for Pole Pruner mode)
- Align the chainsaw unit with the telescopic pole connector.
- Securely fasten the chainsaw unit to the pole using the locking mechanism.
- Adjust the pole length by releasing the locking collar, extending to the desired length (107-205 cm), and re-engaging the collar.
- Attach the shoulder strap/harness for comfortable and balanced operation.
5.4. Lubrication
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw unit.
- Fill the reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant (oil not included).
- Ensure the cap is securely tightened. The automatic lubrication system will dispense oil during operation.
6. Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure you have read and understood all safety instructions.
6.1. Starting the Tool
- Insert a charged battery into the tool handle.
- Press and hold the safety lock button.
- While holding the safety lock, press the trigger switch to start the chain. Release the safety lock once the chain is running.
6.2. Using as a Mini Chainsaw
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Ensure stable footing.
- Place the running chain against the material to be cut. Apply light, steady pressure.

- Replace the chain when it becomes excessively dull, damaged, or worn.
7.3. Cleaning
- Always remove the battery before cleaning.
- Clean the chainsaw unit, guide bar, and chain after each use to remove sawdust, sap, and debris.
- Use a brush or compressed air to clean ventilation slots. Do not use water or solvents.
7.4. Storage
- Store the tool in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.
- Remove batteries before long-term storage.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, partially charged.
