Setup
1. Installing the SIM Card and Battery
- Remove the Back Cover: Gently pry open the back cover of the phone.
- Insert SIM Card(s): The phone supports two Nano SIM cards. Locate the SIM card slots and insert your Nano SIM card(s) with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring they are correctly seated.
- Insert Battery: Place the 1800mAh battery into its compartment, aligning the contacts.
- Replace Back Cover: Securely close the back cover until it clicks into place.
2. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the phone's battery.
- Using the Charging Dock: Place the phone into the charging dock. Connect the USB cable to the charging dock and then to a power adapter (not always included) or a computer's USB port.
- Direct USB-C Charging: Alternatively, connect the USB-C cable directly to the phone's charging port and a power source.
The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Red (End Call/Power) button until the screen lights up.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Red (End Call/Power) button, then confirm power off on the screen.
2. Making and Receiving Calls
- Dialing: Enter the phone number using the keypad and press the Green (Call) button.
- Answering: When a call comes in, press the Green (Call) button.
- Ending: Press the Red (End Call/Power) button to end a call.
3. Sending SMS Messages
Navigate to the "Messages" menu. Select "Write Message," enter your text, and then select the recipient from your contacts or enter a number manually.
4. SOS Emergency Function
The SOS button is located on the back of the phone. It can be programmed with up to 5 emergency contact numbers.
- Setting SOS Numbers: Go to Menu > SOS Settings to add or edit emergency contacts.
- Activating SOS: In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for a few seconds. The phone will automatically call the programmed numbers in sequence until one answers. It will also send an emergency SMS to these contacts.
5. Camera Usage
To take photos, navigate to the "Camera" application from the main menu. Use the navigation keys to frame your shot and the center key to capture the image.
6. Flashlight
The flashlight can usually be activated by a dedicated side button or a long press of a specific key (refer to your phone's on-screen prompts if a dedicated button is not present).
7. Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental key presses, use the physical lock switch located on the side of the phone. Slide it to lock or unlock the keypad.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone and screen. Avoid liquid cleaners.
