3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Vabches Farmhouse Executive Desk. An electric screwdriver can be used, but ensure it is set to a low torque to prevent stripping screws or damaging the wood.

3.1 Tools Required (Not Included):

• Hammer
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Flathead Screwdriver
• (Optional) Electric Screwdriver (use low torque setting)

3.2 Assembly Steps:

1. Prepare the Workspace: Clear a spacious area on a soft, clean surface (like a carpet or blanket) to prevent scratching the desk components during assembly.
2. Identify Parts: Lay out all numbered and lettered parts according to the instruction manual.
3. Assemble Base Sections: Begin by connecting the main side panels and support beams using the provided wooden dowels and cam lock system. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten.

4. Install Cam Locks: Insert the cam lock pins into the designated holes and then align the cam lock mechanisms. Turn the cam locks clockwise with a screwdriver to secure the panels together.

5. Attach Desk Top: Carefully place the main desktop surface onto the assembled base. Secure it using the provided screws and hex-ended lag bolts.
6. Assemble Hutch: Construct the hutch section separately, following the same cam lock and dowel system.
7. Attach Hutch to Desk: With assistance, carefully lift the assembled hutch and align it with the pre-drilled holes on the desktop. Secure it firmly.
8. Install Sliding Doors: Attach the sliding door hardware to the hutch and the doors themselves. Ensure they glide smoothly along the track.

9. Assemble Drawers: Build the two drawers using the provided panels, hardware, and rollers. Install the drawer handles.

10. Install Charging Hub: Secure the built-in charging hub into the designated slot on the desktop using the small screws.

11. Insert Adjustable Shelves: Place the adjustable shelves into the hutch and side cabinet using the shelf pins. You can customize their height based on your storage needs.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Charging Hub:

• The desk is equipped with 4 power outlets and 2 USB ports.
• Plug the charging hub's power cord into a wall outlet.
• Use the built-in on/off switch to power the hub. A red indicator light will show when it is active.
• Connect your devices (laptops, smartphones, etc.) to the available outlets or USB ports for charging.
• For safety, turn off the hub using the switch when not in use or when leaving the area.

4.2 Smart LED Lights:

• The desk features Bluetooth LED lights.
