Setup and Installation
The Lamomo Motion Sensor Outdoor Post Light offers two primary mounting methods: Pole Mount and Pier Mount. All necessary mounting hardware is included. A 3-inch mounting base or post/pole is required (not included).
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the chosen pole or pier mount is stable and can support the fixture. The fixture fits a 3-inch diameter post or pier mount.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, turn off the electrical power at the main circuit breaker to avoid electrical shock.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting live to live, neutral to neutral, and ground to ground. Use wire nuts to secure connections.
- Secure the Fixture: Attach the light fixture to the 3-inch post or pier mount using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure it is firmly secured and stable.
- Install Bulb: Screw an E26 base bulb (LED, incandescent, or CFL, max 60W) into the socket. (Bulb not included).
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Modes
The Lamomo Motion Sensor Outdoor Post Light features four distinct operating modes, selectable via controls on the fixture:
- AUTO Mode (Motion Sensor): In this mode, the light automatically turns on at dusk when motion is detected within its coverage area. It remains on while motion is detected. After motion stops, the light will stay on for a predetermined time (adjustable from 20 seconds to 5 minutes) before turning off automatically.
- PC Mode (Dusk to Dawn): The light automatically turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn, providing continuous illumination throughout the night.
- On Mode: The light stays on continuously, day and night. It can be manually turned off using an external wall switch.
- TEST Mode: This mode allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. When motion is detected, the light turns on for approximately 5 seconds, regardless of ambient light conditions. This is useful for verifying sensor placement and range.
Adjusting Settings
The motion sensor unit on the fixture includes controls for adjusting sensitivity and the duration the light stays on after motion ceases in AUTO mode. Refer to the markings on the sensor for specific adjustments.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Lamomo Outdoor Post Light.
Cleaning
To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the aluminum body and tempered glass. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or glass.
Bulb Replacement
To replace the bulb, turn off the power at the circuit breaker. Carefully unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new E26 base bulb (max 60W). Ensure the new bulb is securely seated before restoring power.
Weather Resistance
The fixture is constructed from 100% heavy-duty die-cast aluminum alloy and solid tempered clear glass, designed to withstand various weather conditions including rain, snow, high/low temperatures, and storms. Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of wear or damage, especially after severe weather events.
