1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the HOMYEDAMIC Oversized Recliner Chair. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new recliner. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Important Safety Information

• This recliner is NOT suitable for the elderly, pregnant women, disabled individuals, or people with leg mobility issues due to the manual footrest closure mechanism.
• The chair is designed for individuals between 5'2" and 6' feet (158-182 CM) in height and weighing up to 350 lbs (158 kg).
• Armrests and other accessories are located under the chair base during shipping.
• The backrest and massage pillow may be vacuum compressed upon arrival. Allow time for them to expand to their full shape.
• This is a manual recliner and is NOT electric.
• Keep children and pets away from the recliner's moving parts.
• Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.

3. Package Contents

Your HOMYEDAMIC Oversized Recliner Chair is shipped in two separate boxes. It is possible that these boxes may be delivered at different times. Please ensure you have received both boxes before beginning assembly.

• Chair Base (main frame with reclining mechanism)
• Backrest
• Left Armrest

• Assembly Hardware (screws, Allen wrench)

4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your recliner chair. It is recommended to have a second person assist with assembly for easier handling of components.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all listed components in Section 3 are present.
2. Attach Armrests: Locate the armrests. The armrests contain the pull-ring mechanism for the footrest. Attach each armrest to the main chair base using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure they are securely fastened.
3. Secure Side Panels: The chair base has fabric side panels that need to be secured. Fasten these panels to the frame using the designated clips or Velcro strips.
4. Attach Backrest: Align the metal brackets on the backrest with the corresponding slots on the main chair base. Slide the backrest down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure both sides are fully engaged and secure.
5. Position Massage Pillow: Place the massage pillow on the chair. It can be positioned on your lumbar, head, or legs for personalized comfort. Connect the massage pillow's power cord to a suitable power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Reclining Function

To recline the chair and extend the footrest, locate the pull-ring on the right armrest. Pull the ring to release the footrest. Lean back gently to adjust the recline angle. The chair offers three reclining positions: approximately 110° for reading, 130° for watching TV, and 160° for sleeping/napping. The angle of the backrest is adjustable but not lockable.

5.2 Retracting the Footrest

To retract the footrest, sit upright in the chair. Place both hands on the armrests and use the force of your heels to push the footrest back into its closed position. This mechanism requires leg strength to close fully.

5.3 Using the Massage Pillow

The included massage pillow offers 8 massage styles and 3 intensity levels. Use the wired remote control to select your desired massage mode and intensity. The pillow's flexible design allows it to be positioned on your lumbar, head, or legs for targeted comfort.

• Spills: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain.
• Vacuuming: Regularly vacuum the chair using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
