2. Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups
The Fishman Fluence Modern pickups offer multiple voices. Refer to the Fishman Fluence documentation for detailed instructions on voice selection, typically accessed via push/pull pots or a mini-switch. These are active pickups and require a 9V battery, located in the battery compartment on the back of the guitar.
3. Multi-scale Fretboard
The multi-scale fretboard features fanned frets, designed to optimize string tension and intonation across all seven strings. This design may feel different initially but provides enhanced ergonomic comfort and tonal clarity.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Body and Neck: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the body and neck after each use. For satin finishes, avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can alter the finish.
- Fingerboard: Periodically clean the ebony fingerboard with a specialized fretboard cleaner and conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
- Hardware: Wipe metal hardware with a dry cloth to prevent tarnishing.
2. String Replacement
Replace strings regularly to maintain optimal tone and playability. When replacing strings, do so one at a time to maintain neck tension. Use strings appropriate for 7-string multi-scale guitars.

3. Battery Replacement (Active Pickups)
The Fishman Fluence Modern pickups require a 9V battery. When the output becomes weak or distorted, it's time to replace the battery. Access the battery compartment on the back of the guitar body.
4. Storage
Store the guitar in a climate-controlled environment, ideally in a hard case or gig bag, to protect it from extreme temperature changes, humidity fluctuations, and physical damage.
