4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED downlight fixture:

1. Turn Off Power: Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply to the installation location is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: The fixture is designed for surface mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
3. Select Lumen and CCT: Before final installation, locate the lumen and CCT (Color Correlated Temperature) selection switches on the back or side of the fixture. Adjust these switches to your desired brightness (11W or 9W) and color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).

4. Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the building's electrical wires according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting the black wire (live) to black, white wire (neutral) to white, and green/bare copper wire (ground) to ground. Use appropriate wire nuts to secure connections.
5. Mount the Fixture: Secure the fixture to the mounting surface using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush and stable.

6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The Philips Lightolier LED downlight is designed for simple operation once installed.

• Power On/Off: Control the light using a standard wall switch connected to the fixture's circuit.
• Lumen and CCT Selection: As detailed in the setup section, the lumen (brightness) and CCT (color temperature) are selected via switches on the fixture prior to final installation. These settings are not adjustable during normal operation without accessing the fixture.
• Dimming: This fixture is dimmable. For optimal performance, use a compatible LED dimmer switch. Refer to the dimmer manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and operation.

6. Maintenance
