Setup

Charging the Device:

1. Connect the provided 2-in-1 USB A & C cable to the Type-C port on the top of the vacuum sealer.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, household charger).
3. The 4-LED battery indicator will illuminate to show charging progress. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.

Preparing the Bags:

The HiCOZY V1 uses specific reusable vacuum sealer bags. Ensure the bags are clean and dry before use. The kit includes 15 medium (10” × 11”) and 15 small (9” × 8”) bags.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to vacuum seal your food items:

1. Step 1: Place Food in Bag. Put the food item into a reusable vacuum seal bag. Ensure the food is below the maximum fill line to allow for proper sealing.
2. Step 2: Seal the Bag. Use the provided seal clip to tightly close the zipper seal of the bag. Run the clip across the entire width of the bag to ensure an airtight seal.
3. Step 3: Vacuum the Air. Place the bag on a flat, stable surface. Align the vacuum sealer's suction port directly over the air valve on the bag. Press the power button on the sealer to begin vacuuming. The device will automatically stop once the air is removed and a vacuum is achieved.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Device:

• Wipe the exterior of the vacuum sealer with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the device in water.
• The visible water tank (drip tray) can be detached and cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.
• If wet vacuuming, monitor the water level in the tank. The automatic water level stop prevents overflow, but regular emptying is recommended.

Cleaning the Reusable Bags:

The included reusable bags are designed for multiple uses. They are freezable, boilable, microwave safe (open bag before use), and dishwasher safe. For thorough cleaning, flip the bags inside out before placing them in the dishwasher.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the USB charging cable and power source.
• Incomplete vacuum seal: Verify that the bag's zipper seal is completely closed and free of food debris. Ensure the vacuum sealer's suction port is perfectly aligned with the bag's air valve. Check for any damage to the bag or the silicone airtight ring on the sealer.
• Water tank overflow: The device has an automatic water level stop. If vacuuming wet items, regularly check and empty the visible water tank to prevent spills.
