Product Overview
The SLOPEHILL D17T system consists of a handheld remote control and two receiver collars. The remote features an LCD screen displaying mode levels and battery status, along with dedicated buttons for Beep, Vibration, Shock, and Flashlight functions. A side switch allows selection between two dog channels, and a safety switch prevents accidental shock. The receiver collars are compact, IP68 waterproof, and include a power button and contact points for stimulation.

Setup
1. Charging the Devices
Both the remote and receiver collars are rechargeable. Use the provided USB charging cable to charge both devices. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The collar can operate for 15-20 days on a single charge, while the remote can last up to 45 days.

2. Pairing the Collar(s)
- Long press the receiver button on the collar.
- After a beep, the green light on the receiver will flash continuously.
- Press any function button (Beep, Vibration, or Shock) on the remote control.
- The receiver will emit a beep again when pairing is successful.

3. Fitting the Collar
The collar strap is adjustable from 8 to 26 inches, suitable for dogs weighing 8 to 140 lbs. Ensure the collar fits snugly but comfortably around your dog's neck. You should be able to insert one finger or your thumb between the collar strap and your dog's neck. For dogs with thick fur, use a comb to separate the fur to ensure the contact points touch the skin effectively. Always ensure the dog is standing comfortably when fitting the collar.

4. Replacing Electrode Columns
- Remove the two conductive silicone caps from the existing electrode columns.
- Use the hexagonal holes on the electric shock test lamp to unscrew the two electrode columns.
- Replace the electric shock column with another length (short or long, depending on your dog's fur length) and tighten it.
- Finally, install the conductive silicone cap over the new electrode columns.

Operating Modes
The SLOPEHILL D17T offers five distinct training modes:
- Beep Mode: Provides an audible tone. Adjustable from 1-8 levels.
- Vibration Mode: Delivers a tactile vibration. Adjustable from 1-8 levels.
- Safe Shock Mode: Provides static stimulation. Adjustable from 0-99 levels. The remote has a dedicated "No Shock" mode to prevent accidental activation.
- Flash Light Mode: Activates a solid white light or flashing lights on the receiver collar for visibility in low-light conditions.
- No Shock Mode: A safety feature that disables the shock function, allowing only beep and vibration modes to be used.
To adjust the mode levels, press the top knob on the remote to select the desired mode (Beep, Vibration, or Shock), then rotate the knob to increase or decrease the intensity level.

Training Tips
This training collar is a tool to assist in teaching your dog basic commands and correcting unwanted behaviors. It is crucial to use it responsibly and humanely. Always pair corrections with verbal commands and positive reinforcement. Start with the lowest effective stimulation level and gradually increase if necessary. The goal is to gain your dog's attention and redirect behavior, not to cause distress. Praise and reward desired behaviors immediately after a correction to help your dog understand what is expected.

Maintenance
- Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 8 hours per day to prevent skin irritation.
- Regularly check your dog's neck for any signs of irritation or discomfort.
- Clean the receiver and contact points periodically with a damp cloth to ensure proper function and hygiene.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SLOPEHILL Dog Training Collar, please refer to the following general troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure both the remote and receiver collars are fully charged.
- Verify that the remote and receiver are properly paired (refer to the "Pairing the Collar(s)" section).
- Check that the collar is fitted correctly and the contact points are making proper contact with your dog's skin.
- Confirm that the "No Shock" mode is not activated if you intend to use static stimulation.
- If the issue persists, please contact customer support for further assistance.
