Important Safety Instructions
Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the generator. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operate the generator outdoors only and far away from windows, doors, and vents. Never use inside a home, garage, or any enclosed area.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks near the generator or fuel tank.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all connections are dry and secure. Use a ground wire connection.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become very hot during operation. Avoid contact to prevent burns.

Adding Engine Oil
Before first use, the generator requires engine oil. Place the generator on a level surface. The oil capacity is approximately 0.6 liters. Use the provided funnel to add the recommended oil type (refer to the owner's manual for specifics, typically 10W-30).

Removing Shipping Brackets
For transport safety, the generator may have red shipping brackets. These must be removed before operation. Use appropriate tools (e.g., an impact driver with a socket or a wrench) to detach them.
Adding Fuel
Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Ethanol-free gasoline is highly recommended for small engines to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Do not overfill.

Operating Instructions
Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps to start your Mutaomay generator:
- Ensure engine oil and fuel levels are adequate.
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
- Move the choke lever to the 'ON' position (for cold starts).
- Flip the engine switch (ENG.SW) on the control panel to 'ON'.
- Pull the recoil start rope firmly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine is running, gradually move the choke lever to the 'OFF' position.

Control Panel Overview
The control panel provides access to various functions and indicators:
- ECO Mode Switch: Activates fuel-saving mode.
- RESET Button: Resets the generator in case of an error or overload.
- Indicator Lights: Oil pressure (red), error (yellow), and normal operation (green).
- DC 12V Port: For 12-volt DC devices.
- AC1 120V Outlets (x2): Standard household outlets.
- AC2 120V/30A RV Outlet: For higher power demands, such as RVs.
- AC Overload & DC Overload Buttons: Circuit breakers for overload protection.
- Engine Switch (ENG.SW): Turns the engine ON/OFF.

Maintenance
Engine Oil
Regularly check the engine oil level using the dipstick. Add oil as needed to maintain the proper level. Change the oil according to the schedule in the owner's manual.
Air Filter
Inspect the air filter periodically. Clean or replace it if it appears dirty or clogged to ensure proper engine performance.
Spark Plug
Check the spark plug for wear and proper gap. Replace if necessary using the provided tool kit.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Generator won't start: Check fuel level, oil level, ensure choke is in the correct position for starting, and the engine switch is ON.
- Low Oil Shutoff: The generator is equipped with a low oil shutoff feature to protect the engine. If the oil level is too low, the generator will not start or will shut down. Add oil to the correct level.
- Overload Protection: If the generator is overloaded, the AC or DC overload circuit breaker will trip, cutting power to the outlets. Reduce the load and press the reset button.
