4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation & Charging
The device comes with 2 rechargeable 1200mAh NiMH batteries. It can also be powered by AA batteries (not included) or charged directly via USB-C without batteries.
- Slide back the battery cover located at the rear of the device.
- Insert the 2 rechargeable NiMH batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover securely.
- To charge, connect the USB-C charging cable to the device's port and a power source. The charging indicator will show the status.

- Power On: Long press the 'MEAS' button to turn on the device.
- Power Off: Long press the 'CLEAR/OFF' button to turn off the device. The device also features auto shut-off after 180s of no operation to save power.

- Switch Units: Long press the 'U' button to cycle through the available measurement units.
