Refer to the detailed user guide for specific instructions on accessing and adjusting these settings via the touch screen interface.
5.3 Milk Frothing with Steam Wand
The upgraded three-hole stainless steel steam wand creates silky, delicate milk foam for lattes and cappuccinos.

Figure 5.3: The three-hole steam nozzle allows for efficient milk frothing.
- Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
- Position the steam wand over the drip tray and open the Steam Knob briefly to purge any condensed water. Close the knob.
- Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the Steam Knob fully. You will hear a hissing sound as air is incorporated into the milk.
- As the milk volume increases and warms, lower the pitcher slightly to keep the tip just below the surface.
- Once the milk reaches the desired temperature (around 140-150°F or 60-65°C) and texture, close the Steam Knob.
- Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
