1. Product Overview

The Gyxel C025 Solar Dual Swing Gate Opener is designed for automating medium-duty dual swing gates. 2.1 Included Components

2.2 Assembly and Mounting

Follow these steps for proper assembly and mounting:

1. Assemble the Gate Bracket: Securely attach the gate bracket components using the provided bolts and nuts.
2. Assemble the Post Bracket: Connect the post bracket parts, ensuring all fasteners are tightened.
3. Fix Gate Opener to Brackets: Insert a clevis pin to fix the gate opener to both brackets. Secure the clevis pin with a hairpin clip.
4. Determine Mounting Position: Manually close the gate and hold the gate opener in position to determine the optimal mounting points on the gate body and post. Mark these positions.
5. Drill Holes: Carefully drill holes at the marked positions on the gate and post.
6. Install Brackets: Mount the post bracket and gate bracket using appropriate fasteners.

2.3 Wiring the System

Proper wiring is crucial for safe and effective operation. Ensure power is cut off before making any connections.

1. Control Box Preparation: Drill holes on the control box and install cable glands to protect the cables.
2. Solar Panel Connection: Connect a 2-core cable to the solar panel, paying attention to positive and negative terminals. If available, use a soldering iron to secure the connection.
3. Solar Panel to Control Board: Connect the 2-core cable from the solar panel to the POWER port on the control board, observing positive and negative polarity.
4. Battery Wiring: Remove battery covers. Use a short black wire to connect two batteries in series (positive of one to negative of the other). Secure the black wire to the control board's negative terminal. Connect the red wire to the control board's positive terminal and the battery's positive terminal.
5. Gate Opener to Control Board: Connect the gate opener to the Motor port on the control board. For single leaf gate openers, connect to Motor 2 port. If the gate opens but the close light (red LED) lights up, swap the wires.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Remote Control Operation

The gate opener comes with two remote controls, offering a maximum control range of 100 feet. The system supports expansion of up to 128 remotes.

3.2 Opening Options

The gate opener supports two installation modes: Pull-to-Open and Push-to-Open, allowing the gate to open inward or outward as needed.

3.3 Auto-Close Function

The auto-close function automatically secures your property after departure. This feature can be adjusted via the control box menu. It activates only when the gate is fully opened. If an obstruction is detected during closing, the gate will stop and reverse.

A manual release key is provided for emergency use, allowing you to operate the gate manually during power outages or system malfunctions.

5.1 Power Supply Abnormality Detection

If the control board does not receive power, check the following components:

1. Check the 3A fuse of the AC transformer. Replace if burned.
2. Check the 10A fuse on the control board. Replace if blown.
3. Verify the power cable, its connections, the plug, and the socket for damage.
4. Use a test pen or multimeter to check for live wires and proper voltage at various connection points on the control board.

5.2 Gate Opening/Closing Direction

If the gate opens but the red LED (close light) illuminates, indicating incorrect direction, swap the motor wires connected to the control board. Operate only after power is cut off.

5.3 Obstruction Detection

The safety stop-and-reverse feature is activated if any obstructions are encountered during gate opening or closing. Ensure the path is clear for smooth operation.

5.4 Limit Switch Adjustment

If the gate does not open or close fully, fine-tune the limit switches (A and B) on the gate opener arm. Moving limit switch A to the left increases the opening angle. Moving limit switch B to the left decreases the closing angle; moving it to the right increases the closing angle.
