3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom or side of the camera.
  2. Slide the latch to open the cover.
  3. Insert the provided non-standard battery, ensuring the correct orientation according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

3.2 Memory Card Insertion

  1. Open the memory card slot cover, usually located near the battery compartment.
  2. Insert a compatible microSD card (not included) into the slot with the metal contacts facing the correct direction, as indicated by the camera.
  3. Push the card gently until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the memory card slot cover.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera. The rear screen will display the live view.
  2. Frame your shot using the screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button halfway to activate autofocus. The focus frame will turn green when focus is achieved.
  4. Press the Shutter button fully to capture the photo.

4.2 Recording Videos

  1. Switch to video mode using the mode button (M) or menu option.
  2. Press the Shutter button to start recording. A red indicator will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.

4.3 Using Dual Screens for Selfies and Vlogging

  1. While in photo or video mode, press and hold the OK button for three seconds to switch to the 1.4-inch front screen.
  2. Use the front screen to compose your selfie or vlog shot.
  3. Press the Shutter button to capture or record.
  4. Press and hold the OK button again to switch back to the rear screen.

4.4 Digital Zoom

  1. In photo or video mode, use the Zoom In/Out buttons (often marked with 'W' and 'T' or '+' and '-') to adjust the 18x digital zoom.
  2. Note that digital zoom may reduce image quality compared to optical zoom.
