Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the power before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Regularly clean the condenser coils (located at the back or bottom) to ensure efficient operation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
  • Wipe down door seals regularly to maintain a tight seal.

Defrosting

The CR50X features a manual defrost system. When ice buildup in the freezer compartment exceeds a few millimeters, defrost the unit:

  1. Turn off the refrigerator and disconnect it from the power supply.
  2. Remove all food items and place them in a cooler.
  3. Leave the door open to allow ice to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
  4. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the unit.
  5. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before reconnecting power and returning food.

Long-Term Storage

If the refrigerator will not be used for an extended period, clean it thoroughly, leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold, and disconnect it from the power supply.
