3.1 Adding Engine Oil

Before starting the engine, ensure the crankcase is filled with the recommended oil type and to the correct level.

1. Place the engine on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil dipstick (see Figure 3.1).
3. Using a funnel, slowly add SAE 10W-30 API SJ or higher engine oil into the oil fill opening.
4. Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be within the safety range, between the highest and lowest marks on the dipstick (see Figure 3.2). Do not overfill.
5. Reinstall the oil dipstick securely.

3.2 Adding Fuel

Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol.

1. Ensure the engine is off and cool.
2. Open the fuel tank cap.
3. Carefully pour unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank. Do not fill above the maximum fuel level indicated (approximately 25mm or 1 inch below the top of the fuel tank opening).
4. Securely close the fuel tank cap.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Engine

Follow these steps to start your Aceup Energy gas engine:

1. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
2. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
3. For a cold engine, move the choke lever to the CHOKE position. For a warm engine, leave it in the RUN position.
4. Adjust the throttle lever to a position about 1/3 of the way from "MIN." to "MAX."
5. Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull briskly and return it gently. Repeat if necessary until the engine starts.
6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the RUN position (if it was in CHOKE).

4.2 Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine:

1. Move the throttle lever to the "MIN." position.
2. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
3. Move the fuel valve lever to the OFF position to prevent fuel flow.
