3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface and has adequate clearance for airflow.
3.1 Unit Placement
- Place the air conditioner on a firm, level floor.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm (8 inches) from walls or other objects to ensure proper air circulation.
- Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
3.2 Window Kit Installation
The window kit is designed for installation in double-hung or sliding windows.
- Adjust the window slider kit to fit your window opening. The kit is suitable for window widths between 20.47 inches and 39.9 inches.
- Secure the window slider kit in the window frame.
- Attach the exhaust hose adapter to the window kit.
- Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust outlet and the other end to the adapter on the window kit. Ensure connections are secure to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.

4. Operating Instructions
The unit can be operated using the control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.
4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control
The control panel features an LED digital display and various buttons for function selection. The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance.

4.2 Operating Modes
Press the 'MODE' button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Set desired temperature between 64°F (18°C) and 90°F (32°C) using the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Select fan speed (High, Low, Auto) using the 'SPEED' button.
- Dehumidify Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, with a capacity of up to 90 pints per day.

4.3 Timer Function
The 24-hour timer allows you to schedule the unit to turn on or off automatically. Press the 'TIMER' button and use 'UP'/'DOWN' to set the desired time in hours.
4.4 Sleep Mode
Activate Sleep Mode for quiet operation during rest periods. The unit will operate at a lower fan speed and gradually adjust the temperature for comfort. Press the 'SLEEP' button to activate.

4.5 Auto Swing
Press the 'SWING' button to activate the automatic louver swing, which helps distribute air evenly throughout the room.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.
5.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
- Remove the filter cover and slide out the air filter.
- Wash the filter with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

5.2 Water Drainage
This unit features a self-evaporation system, which typically eliminates the need for manual drainage in cooling mode. However, in high humidity conditions or when using dehumidify mode, the internal water tank may fill up. The unit will indicate when drainage is required.
- Turn off the unit and unplug it.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage port located at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.

5.3 Storage
Before storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all accumulated water.
- Clean the air filter.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, covered to protect from dust.
