4.2 Guide Bar and Chain Installation
The 8-inch guide bar and chain are typically pre-installed. To switch to the 6-inch guide bar and chain, or for re-installation:
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw for safety.
- Loosen the chain tension adjustment knob and remove the side cover.
- Carefully remove the existing guide bar and chain.
- Place the desired guide bar onto the chainsaw, ensuring it aligns with the mounting studs.
- Fit the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
- Replace the side cover and lightly tighten the adjustment knob.
- Adjust the chain tension as described in Section 6.2.
4.3 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
For enhanced control, especially during heavier cutting tasks, attach the auxiliary handle:
- Locate the screw-on attachment point on the chainsaw body.
- Screw the auxiliary handle firmly into place. Ensure it is secure before operation.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
Always wear appropriate safety gear, including goggles and gloves, before operating the chainsaw.
- Insert a charged battery into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.
- To start the chainsaw, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the trigger switch. Release the safety lock button once the saw is running.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, if using the auxiliary handle, or with one hand if performing light tasks and maintaining balance.
- Position the chainsaw against the material to be cut, ensuring the chain is not obstructed.
- Apply steady, even pressure to make the cut. Avoid forcing the saw, allowing the chain to do the work.
- Release the trigger switch to stop the chainsaw.
5.2 Auto-Oiler System
The chainsaw features an automatic oiling system to keep the chain lubricated during operation. Ensure the oil tank is filled with appropriate chain lubricant before use.
- Locate the oil tank cap and fill the tank with chainsaw chain oil.
- During operation, periodically press the oiler button to ensure the chain receives adequate lubrication.

5.3 Cutting Techniques
- Pruning: For small branches, use the 6-inch bar. Support the branch to prevent pinching the chain.
- Cutting Logs: For thicker logs, use the 8-inch bar. Ensure the log is stable and elevated if possible. Make relief cuts if necessary to prevent binding.
- Avoid Kickback: Be aware of the kickback zone at the tip of the guide bar. Avoid cutting with this area to prevent sudden upward and backward movement of the saw.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Chain Lubrication
Regular lubrication is crucial for chain longevity and cutting efficiency. Always ensure the oil reservoir is filled with suitable chain oil. Use the auto-oiler system as described in Section 5.2.
6.2 Chain Tension Adjustment
Proper chain tension is essential for safe and efficient operation. A chain that is too loose can derail, and a chain that is too tight can cause excessive wear and reduce performance.
- Ensure the chainsaw is off and the battery is removed.
- Loosen the side cover nuts slightly.
- Turn the chain tension adjustment knob to tighten or loosen the chain. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no more than 1/8 inch (3 mm) of slack at the center of the guide bar.
- Once the tension is correct, tighten the side cover nuts firmly.

6.3 Cleaning and Storage
After each use:
- Remove the battery.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove sawdust and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing vents.
- Wipe down the chainsaw body with a clean, damp cloth.
- It is recommended to empty the oil from the tank before storing the saw to prevent potential leaks.
- Store the chainsaw in its protective case in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
