1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Installing the Dash Cam

The Vantrue N4 Pro S features a magnetic sliding bracket for easy installation. Mount the front camera discreetly behind your rearview mirror to avoid obstructing your view. The rear camera offers two mounting options: inside the cabin or externally, thanks to its IP67 waterproof rating. Use the provided trim removal tool and cable clips to neatly route the cables.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the dash cam using the included car charger. Important: Vantrue dash cams are not compatible with PD fast charging. Always use the provided car charger or Vantrue power cables. Ensure the rear camera cable is connected to the REAR port on the front camera unit, and the power cable is plugged into the mount port. Incorrect connections will prevent the device from powering on. The supercapacitor ensures reliable performance across extreme temperatures (-4°F to 158°F).
