2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two adults. Clear a spacious area and lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
4.1 Table Assembly
- Attach the table legs to the X-shaped stretchers. Ensure the stretchers are correctly oriented to form a stable base.
- Carefully place the tabletop upside down on a protected surface.
- Align the assembled leg and stretcher base with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the tabletop.
- Secure the base to the tabletop using the provided bolts and washers. Tighten all fasteners evenly with the Allen wrench.
- Carefully flip the table upright.

4.2 Chair Assembly (Repeat for each of the 4 chairs)
- Attach the front legs to the chair seat using the provided hardware.
- Attach the back legs to the chair seat and backrest.
- Connect the side and front stretchers between the legs to enhance stability.
- Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions: Extending and Retracting the Table Leaf
Your dining table features a removable leaf to adjust its length from 42 inches (round) to 57.7 inches (oval).
5.1 To Extend the Table:
- Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart from the center. The table will slide on its runners.
- Insert the 15.7-inch removable leaf into the gap created in the center of the table.
- Push the two tabletop halves back together until they are flush with the leaf and securely locked.

5.2 To Retract the Table:
- Pull the two halves of the tabletop apart slightly.
- Carefully lift and remove the middle leaf. Store the leaf in a safe place to prevent damage.
- Push the two tabletop halves back together until they meet, forming the round table.

6. Maintenance
