5.3 Connecting to Power
- Connect the provided car charger to the USB-C port on the dash cam.
- Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Route the power cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard using the included pry tool to tuck it into crevices, ensuring it does not interfere with driving.
- The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
6. Operating the Dash Cam
6.1 Basic Recording (Loop Recording)
The V200 dash cam features continuous loop recording. Once powered on, it will automatically start recording. When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked footage will be overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous operation without manual intervention.
- Default recording segments are typically 1, 2, or 3 minutes.
- Ensure your SD card is formatted regularly to maintain optimal performance.

Figure 6.1: Loop Recording Functionality
6.2 G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements, impacts, or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical footage is preserved as evidence.
- The G-sensor sensitivity can be adjusted via the mobile app.

6.3 24-Hour Parking Mode
For continuous surveillance when your vehicle is parked, the 24-hour parking mode activates automatically upon detecting motion or impact. It records incidents such as collisions or attempted break-ins.
- NOTE: This function requires a hardwire kit (not included) to provide continuous power to the dash cam when the vehicle is off. Search for ASIN B0CTHMSKWF on Amazon.com for a compatible hardwire kit.

7. Maintenance
7.1 SD Card Formatting
It is recommended to format the SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to ensure stable recording performance and prevent data corruption. Formatting can be done through the VeeCar app settings.
7.2 Cleaning the Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the dash cam lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the lens coating.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dash cam does not power on. | No power from car charger; loose connection. | Check car charger connection and vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Ensure vehicle ignition is on. |
| App connection issues (e.g., with CarPlay/Android Auto, iOS 18). | Interference from other wireless connections; software glitch. | Disable wireless CarPlay/Android Auto temporarily. Restart your phone and the dash cam. Ensure the app is updated. |
| Settings not saving or reverting. | SD card issue; internal memory issue. | Format the SD card via the app. Try a different, high-quality SD card. If the issue persists, contact support. |
| Footage is blurry or unclear. | Protective film on lens; dirty lens; improper mounting angle. | Remove any protective film. Clean the lens with a soft cloth. Adjust the dash cam angle. |
| "Wireless" in title is misleading, requires constant power. | Misinterpretation of "wireless" (refers to Wi-Fi connectivity, not battery operation). | The dash cam requires continuous power from the car charger for operation. "Wireless" refers to its Wi-Fi connectivity for app control and data transfer. |
